What is Sourcing?

Sourcing is identifying the right kind of people who would be excited and driven to volunteer for a cause they believe in, in this case, with Make A Difference.

Why is this important?

The answer is very straightforward.

• To support children, we need volunteers,
• To get volunteers, we need applicants.
• To get applicants, we need to source.

And to not just source anybody, but also to keep quality in mind as we need the best kind of support for the children and youth we work with.

Hence, the process starts from there.

So who are we trying to Source? What kind of a volunteer?

These are the characteristics we are looking for in a MAD Volunteer. Now let’s move to Non-negotiables. As the name suggests, we will have to hold this stronger & tighter than the other pieces.

Non-Negotiables for a MAD Volunteer

Below mentioned are a few commitments that we look for in a volunteer, hence these can be communicated while we are sourcing for volunteering applicants.
