The 3 main strategies that we utilize for sourcing are mentioned below in order.
Referral Sourcing
- This is where you refer someone, your friend, your best friend, your colleague, or whoever you feel will be a good fit into the MAD system. One common lens we give for the MAD volunteer is - If this person took classes for your set of children, would you be happy? Hence referral sourcing is best executed with existing MAD volunteers who refer other people in their circles to join MAD.
College sourcing & partnerships
- The highest lead count you get in the shortest period is when you tap into colleges. So rather than just doing random campaigns, why not partner with the college and let the college support you in doing what you need and you can help them in what they need!
- As it’s a partnership and not just pitching to students in a class, there are recommended steps to follow to execute this. Hence, go through the ****college partnership document to understand deeper and what steps to take to form a partnership.
- Class to class campaign
- College Partnership document
- College one pager
- One Day College Recruitment Guide
- College Pitch Deck
Online campaign
- Online campaigning is making the most of the social media platforms where through our content, we can source leads. This is done centrally and even within a chapter right to a volunteer creating or sharing content on their social media pages.
Best Practices
- Sharing makeadiff’s content collectively has a huge impact on the reach where across India you will find applicants coming in. So whenever there is an upload on makeadiff, do reshare and engage!
- Sharing is one thing. But sharing it with your personal touch makes a much bigger impact for the existing followers you have. You post once, people forget. You post 2-3-4-5-6 times, you got people’s attention and now they are intrigued and curious about MAD.
- Down below you can find some collaterals and activities that you can do on-ground to create content and ready made content that you can directly post on your socials and also use the same for offline posters and collaterals. :)
